A family estate rooted in Saint-Romain
Domaine Germain Père & Fils is nestled at the foot of the limestone escarpment,
in a natural amphitheatre where the vines climb between 300 and 420 metres above sea level.
Now run by Arnaud Germain, the vineyard extends across fourteen hectares,
principally in Saint-Romain, complemented by parcels in Pommard, Beaune, Volnay and Meursault.
Bernard Germain settles in Saint-Romain and founds Domaine Germain Père & Fils with his wife Jacqueline.
Patrick Germain joins the estate. Creation of the GAEC and development of bottle sales.
The estate opens to restaurant clients, in Burgundy and beyond. Opening of the tasting room. Marie Thérèse joins the team.
Arnaud Germain takes over the estate and develops its commercial reach. Creation of a négociant arm to broaden the range.
Move into a new single-storey winery at the edge of the village.
The estate grows with the addition of new parcels in Meursault and Volnay 1er Cru.
